Menaria Community representatives today presented a memorandum to Police Superintendent Hariprasad Sharma.
The community representatives, who are all residents of Paneriyon ki Madri, said that they owned farm land in Sector 9, which was taken by housing board in Dec 2009. The housing board had promised that the land owners will be compensated effectively and will also be allotted developed land elsewhere.
The community representatives however claim that they have neither been compensated nor given land as per the promise.
The plots belonged to 75 members of the community.
At present housing board is in process of cutting more plots. The community representatives also appealed that the same should not be allowed.
