President of MLSU student union, Pankaj Borana, along with his supporters, locked the badminton court today at 4:30 pm in the University premises. Borana alleged MPUAT officials for not allowing the students of the Sukhadia University to enter the court premises.

Borana said, “In the evening some students of our University complained me regarding the irregularities at the Badminton court. Recently a badminton competition was held and since then we are not given time to enter the badminton court.”

According to the MLSU officials, the confusion about the possession of the badminton court is there since the year 1987. Both the universities are claiming for the possession of the court but no one is making sincere efforts to resolve it.

The students are facing consequences for the confusion between the Universities.

Borana said, “We will not tolerate the pain taken by our students. I will not unlock the gate until both the Universities sit together and sort out the matter.”
