There is an under bridge at Bedwas which has become the cause of concern since it is too narrow. As per public complaints, administration has been made aware of the dangers pertaining to this narrow under bridge but everything has fallen on deaf ears.

A great number of vehicles from Kanpur, Madri Industrial Area and the nearby villages use this under bridge daily. There is also Ashapura Mataji temple at Bedwas which is frequented by lakhs of devotees every year.

Because of the under bridge being too narrow, 108 ambulance and fire brigade vehicles cannot reach on time during emergency. One of the residents informed that railway department has also been notified of this issue but every time the issue was suppressed blaming it on the unavailability of funds and some other reasons. One other resident even said that legislators, Chief Secretary and Chief Minister have also been made aware of this situation but government is pleading shortage of funds.
