One of the female staff in MB hospital was negligent enough to forget that she had to send the blood sample of a patient to the lab.

On Tuesday, a patient gave his blood sample in the Central Lab of MB Hospital. The female attendant in the lab got so busy on her mobile that she forgot to send forward the sample for investigation. The innocent patient had to be pierced once again for taking another blood sample.

As per reports, Kishan Lal Meghwal took his father to MB Hospital who was later admitted to a ward. As per doctor’s instructions, a nurse took the patient’s blood sample. The sample was handed over to the lab by the patient’s son. The female attendant in the lab gave two acknowledgement slips for the sample to Kishan. In the evening, when Kishan reached the report counter, he was informed that no samples as stated in the slips were brought for investigation. Kishan’s father was then bound to give more blood samples for which the report was received after 12 hours.

This is not the first time that patient’s reports have gone missing from the hospital. Even earlier, a lot of cases of lost reports have been brought to notice.
