The 3 major tourist spots in Udaipur lack adeqaute parking facility resulting in haphazard parking of tourist vehicles. This has become a big issue as these areas are prominent residential areas and also have schools here. It is the beginning of tourist season now and residents of Saheliyon ki Bari area, Dewali area and Sukhadia Circle are already facing traffic issues.

Parking is such a major issue in these 3 areas that tourists are getting a negative impression. They need to walk to a long distance to reach their venue and prior to this they are facing the hassle of getting stuck in traffic. It may be noted that Saheliyon ki Bari and Sukhadia Circle areas become most crowded in tourist season and these are the areas which have a school, government offices, and other educational institutes and eating joints as well.

It has also been reported that the community centre at Dewali has been lying ignored since a long time and has become the ‘adda’ for people consuming liquor. The roads are worn and torn due to sewerage line work and cable works. Other issue is that beggars are frequenting these areas and are a nuisance for all. They chase tourists and trouble them a lot.
