NREGA Workers Association has showed its discomfort to the district collector and IG Police today for no action against the culprits who attacked the Gram Rozgaar Sahayak (Rural Employment Helper) on April 10 at Mal ki Tus village.

The victim employee, Mahendra Singh Sisodiya was beaten by husband and son of local Sarpanch. Mahendra got seriously injured and came to Udaipur to complain about the incident, but the police seem to have not taken any action yet.

Association President Bhopal Singh informed that they have written their complaint and submitted a memorandum. He said, “If still no action is taken then all the workers will go for an indefinite protest in front of Panchayat Committee Head Office from 15th April. We will also not work to implement ongoing BPL Housing Scheme and Pension Schemes.”
