The nursing staff of Maharana Bhopal (M.B) Hospital Udaipur observed 2 hours strike today. The protest was against delay in salary. The workers have not received their pay from past 6 months.

Kamal Sharma, President, Nursing Association informed that nursing staff of M. B hospital has not been paid from past 6 months. The matter was brought into knowledge of hospital superintendent and other concerned authorities but no positive action was taken.

Sharma said, “Till now we have not been given any satisfactory answer for the delayed payment. The nursing staff comes from poor families. The delay in salary compensations from hospital administration has forced suffering to them and their families.”
