Padmavati protest-Rally from Udaipur to Chittor
Vehicle rally from Udaipur to Chittor against Padmavati movie.
Protesting against the film “Padmavati”, a vehicle rally was carried out from Udaipur to Chittor. The rally carried out by Shiv Dal Mewar went from Udaipur to the Jauhar point in Chittor.
Vehicle rally protesting the release of Padmavati started from Neelkanth Mahadev temple at Fatehsagar at 8 a.m. on Wednesday and reached Chittor at 2 p.m. via Dabok, Menar, Mangalwad. The vehicle rally covered a distance of 110 km. and reached Jauhar point in Chittor.
Members of Shiv Dal offered flowers at Jauhar point in memory of Maharani Padmavati and other women who gave up their life along with the queen. Shiv Dal member Manish Mehta said that the film should not be released anywhere in India. He also said that government should ban this film in entire nation. If it is not banned, the members will protest by means of agitation.
Patanjali Yuva Bharat and Rajput Mahasabha also stood in protest. Each one said that the wrong picturisation of Maharani Padmavati’s character will not be tolerated. No one will be allowed to play with history.
