A big and bulky part of a wall of Fateh Sagar’s paal went down crashing into the lake today. This incident did not occur suddenly as administration had been intimated many a times by public and media about the fragile condition of Paal’s waterside area.

On the one hand, Udaipur administration is spending millions on beautifying the lakeside area by installing fountains, making gardens, parking and benches for people visiting the paal, while on the other hand, a part of historical lake has been completely neglected.
