Online fraud seems to be the best and the easiest way to rob anyone. We have seen various cases of online fraud and ATM fraud. This time it is the case of  Pay TM fraud.

A restaurant owner faced Pay TM fraud through one of its ‘customers’. Owner of Harsh Jodhpur restaurant in Sukher became victim of Pay TM fraud when an unidentified caller cheated him on the pretext of making payment for food bill.

Rakesh Parihar has registered a case of Pay TM fraud in Surajpole police station under IT act. As per the report, a man called up the restaurant to book a table for his guests. He wanted to make online payment for food and asked for Pay TM number and also took the OTP over phone call. After a few minutes of giving both numbers to the caller, Parihar noticed that money was transferred from his account to some other unknown account.

The caller was an impostor who played duped Parihar by booking a table and robbed off 36 thousand rupees.
