Forest Officials diverted the PCCF (Wildlife), U.M. Sahai from inspecting Gulab Bagh today. Instead, they took him to Jhadol for some official visit. This diversion seems unsurprising as the Gulab Bagh Zoo has been continually coming in headlines for alleged scandals.

PCCF reached Udaipur late night yesterday but didn’t visit Gulab Bagh today. However, District Collector Vikas Bhale reached there and inspected some of the cages; he might have come to see some preparations done by the forest department officials to welcome the PCCF.

On the other hand, statements of Ram Singh Panwar, Kalu lal Bhoi and Murlidahar Saini have reportedly been taken today by ACF Kesri Singh Rathore on the issue of Missing Birds.
