Angry protesters in the Lake City expressed their disappointment on Delhi police and administration’s alleged negligence over the 5-year-old girl’s brutal rape. The shocking incident once again led people to come out on roads to protest against the unending crimes.
People shouted slogans against Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, UPA Chief Sonia Gandhi and Delhi CM Sheila Dixit, and burnt their effigies. The protesters demanded action against Delhi police officials and the rape accused.
Kamlendra Singh, one of the activists said, “There should be more strict laws against such heinous crimes against women, and the best is to castrate the accused.”
The whole nation is in state of shock after the 5 year old girl was brutally raped and tortured for three days by her neighbor at Gandhi Nagar located in East Delhi. The girl was found on 17th April by her father; she went missing on 15th April.
