The employee union of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC), also known as Rajasthan Roadways, has decided to protest against the state government’s decision of privatizing the company until the government reverses the decision.

The union is being supported from various other organizations, including INTUC, ANTUC, BMS and AITUC.

The workers have decided to conduct silent protest everyday outside the Roadways Bus Stand from tomorrow. As a part of the protest, all roadways bus drivers will wear black ribbons and place black flags on their buses as a mark of their concerns.

Protesting against the privatization of RSRTC, the workers have also decided to take part in a ‘chakka jam’ on 30-31 July.
