Selfie mania has taken a lot of lives but no lessons taken yet. The speed at which this craze is growing needs to be checked ASAP since this is an open invitation to death.

Selfie mania-An invitation to death

Pouting with the sea behind standing on the edge of a cliff, pretending to be on the seventh sky standing on the border line, trying to act brave with a croc just a little away (imagine that little), hanging from the train’s door to click the running away and fading trees behind are some of the very common, in fact madly common stunts that the youth are attempting.

News of students falling off the fort while taking selfie, a young man slipping to death in the almost flooded river, someone getting smashed up by train ….aren’t these enough to awaken the senses? Seems selfie lovers forget that they have more of people loving them at home …that they would be loved enough even without such brave (yet fatal) displays.

Posing for selfie is not bad at all, but where and how you take it needs to be thought of. Basically selfie mania is a disease referred to as OCD-Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. This is because youth nowadays are so much self-obsessed with their wish to be appreciated as a physically beautiful, strong, attractive…whatever person. This desire is much stronger than the hunger for name due to good deeds.

Selfie craze has possessed minds to a great extent. Youngsters can forget anything but will never forget posing anywhere anyhow. It rounds up to the fact that clicking self photographs is not bad; it is just the safety measure that needs to be well taken care of.

Funny poses while selfie-ing

Let us also talk of the poses that people make while taking selfies. Some are so much used to pouting that social media took pleasure in comparing images with goats and donkeys and monkeys…we all know this. Others have a typical style of standing side-ways as if someone called out to them and they turned back with an attitude. Some people arch a lot and some people have a smile stuck on their faces. The smile is such that you can ‘pick out the correct one’ in the puzzle game.

Conclusion

All said and done, selfie mania needs to be curbed. Instead of wasting time in clicking and falling into depression for not having the right and attractive pose; better go for a photo session. While on outing, ask some third parties else assure that it won’t put you in danger.

BE SAFE-BE ALERT…Your safety lies on your hands (and your mind, of course!!)
