Bad roads are a big issue in the city. Following the troubles faced almost every day, shopkeepers in Hiranmagri Sector 6 did a show down against the pathetic condition of roads running from Satellite hospital in Sector 5 to Sector 6.

Reportedly, the road patch work began a week back because of pot holes. But after a day of spreading concrete and sand, the work was stopped and since then no one paid heed to carry out the repair work. Because of obstruction in entering their work area, the shopkeepers reported the issue to the ward councillor. Since no action was taken, all shopkeepers decided to bring down the shutters and protested against the administration.
