The members of Jheel Hiteshi Nagrik Manch had a hard time cleaning the lakes today at Chauhano ki Gali as the lake’s surface was brimming with hydrilla and ceratophyllum grass that made rowing the boat difficult. The boats had to be pulled to the side with the help of a tight rope.

Following the routine of cleaning the lakes every Sunday the members reached the Chauhano ki Gali area to organize Shramdaan in which the widespread water weed was extracted using dumper. According to the members, with the flow from Seesarma river, much of the water weed has collected around Naga Nagri area that the administration should extract.

The members included Haji Sardar Mohammad, Kamlesh Purohit, Sohanlal Kalyana, Manish Galicha, Prakash Parihar, Kishore Gehlot, Badrilal, Zulfikar Sheikh, Haji Noor Mohammad, Mukesh Kumawat, Rais Khan, Bhanwarlal Sharma and AR Khan participated in the shramdaan.
