Residents of the Silawatwadi area were shocked when they saw a small snake coming out from the tap of a government water supply. The snake was later captured in a bottle and a complaint was lodged to the local politicians against administration.

Rahim Baksh, resident of Lane No.4 of Silawatwadi was filling water from government tap at 4:30am when suddenly a snake approximately 6 inch long trinket came out with the water and fell inside the bucket.

Baksh saw the snake and informed other residents. While talking to the local media he said that the area is getting unclean water from last several days, a pipeline is also leaked. No action has been taken by the water works department yet.

According to the snake expert, Padam Singh Rathore, the snake is called Trinket and it is non venomous. Rathore said that, Trinket snakes are often found in old city areas but they cannot come out from tap through pipeline. It is only possible if the pipeline has a leakage.
