Udaipur Muslims express rage against Anti-Islamic Film
Heavy police force has been deployed today in various Muslim areas of Udaipur, following the reports of a mass protest rally to be carried out by Muslim community against the U.S made controversial anti Islamic film ‘Innocence of Muslim’.

However, the protest went peaceful and no rally has been carried in the city. A dozen of Muslim leaders and clerics met with District Collector and Superintendent of Police to express their concern over the film which has straightly hurt the sentiments of the global Muslim community.
According to the memorandum, the community demanded Government of India to pressurize United States to ban the film.
The team of Muslim representatives led by Anjuman– e–Talim–ul–Islam met the District Collector, Hemant Gera and S.P., Hariprasad Sharma, today early morning.
The group consisted of Imams of all mosques, including Sharafat Hussain – Sadar of Anjuman, Farukh Hussain – Secretary, Haji Ibrahim Khan – member of Waqf Board, Gayasuddin – former trustee of Anjuman, Zaheeruddin Sakka and Salim Mewafarosh.
Ata-ur-Rahman (Add. S. P. Tribal) and Tejraj Singh (Add. S. P. City), led the police team near Paltan Mosque and other Muslim areas, to control law and order situation.
‘Innocence of Muslim’ is a film made by a U.S. based producer and was first telecasted on YouTube.com. The film enraged heavy protest in many Arab and African countries, including Yemen, Libya, Egypt and Tunisia.
