Udaipur will come forward between 8.30 PM to 9.30 PM to celebrate Earth Hour as landmark buildings and iconic monuments, individuals, organizations and governments across the globe will switch off their lights to raise voice against climate change.

Udaipur will come forward between 8.30 PM to 9.30 PM to celebrate Earth Hour as landmark buildings and iconic monuments, individuals, organizations and governments across the globe will switch off their lights to raise voice against climate change.

The Earth Hour that commenced in India in 2009 has inspired individuals, governments and corporation to move towards responsible consumption and conservation of energy. It has received participation in over 150 countries.

In support, Hotel Ramada, Celebration Mall and several other buildings along with offices will switch off their lights during the hour.

WWF-Udaipur’s office-in-charge Arun Soni has informed that The posters of the event were inaugurated by Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar in Udaipur as well.

On 25th March, school children will carry out awareness rally in the city and events will be organized at Fateh Sagar Pal in the evening from 7 PM onward.
