A Signature Campaign for passport office was started today. The campaign was initiated under joint banner of Jag Nagrik Seva Samiti and Sarvdharm Maitri. The activists signed a banner opposite collectorarte.

Akthar Ali Siddique, Founder, Jag Nagrik Seva Samiti, informed, “This campaign will continue till 30^th June. A similar activity will be carried out on various circles of city in coming days. On 1^st July all the members of Jag Nagrik Seva Samiti will be on hunger strike, if we do not receive any satisfactory decision from state government.”

Siddique added, “On 11^th June Sign Campaign will be carried out at Patel Circle from 10 am onwards. It is to be noted that from past 1 year demand for a passport office is raised at regular intervals. Udaipur being Zonal Headquarter has a population more than 10 lacs in complete zone. In absence of a passport office applicants have to travel Jodhpur, which in turn becomes a very lengthy and hectic process.”
