Udaipur, City of Lakes and World’s most sought after tourism destination has been lately facing incidents of child beggary and child labour. Before this problem scales up – What solutions do we have? Let us think and discuss together to ensure that our city Udaipur remains a “Child Beggary and Child Labour Free City”.

Now a days when you wait on the traffic signals, from some where small children knock at your car windows or pull your shirt, beggary.. something needs to be done. Parents pushing their children towards child labour to match two-meals. The hands that should hold books and are holding bricks or begging on road-side.

Vedanta Khushi is a social media campaign initiated by Vedanta Group to spread awareness towards care for the underprivileged children in India. The campaign posts success stories on the khushi blog  and as a strong 28,000 members group from across the world on facebook page. The campaign also discusses and brings forward issues concerning underprivileged children.
