Employees of Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University (JRNVU) and employee’s association together protested today at 11 AM outside the headquarter, against the inaction of administration on the memorandum which was earlier submitted by them and for the dismissal of Kul Pramakuh, Praful Naagar from his post.

According to the Memorandum, Naagar was allegedly involved in various scams and strict action was demanded to stop any illegal activities, so that the institution can run properly to meet its objective.

Harilal Chaubisa started his hunger strike until the dissolution of corrupt administration, suspension of Bhanwarlal Gurjar and removal of Praful Naagar, while Dr. Hemshankar Dadhich, who was already on hunger strike, announced to continue his fast until death and protest for the same reason.

All the three campuses of Vidhyapeeth, Central Unit, Panchayatan Unit, Dabok & Saraswati Unit and Masharam remained closed and all the exams were adjourned.

Ex- President of Student Association, Dr. Pankaj Chaudhary announced his full support to the cause.

The protests started in June after Praful Naagar rejected the decision of removal of his wife, Divya Prabha Naagar from the post of Vice- Chancellor and appointed Dr. Jitendra Taylia as the new Chancellor of Vidyapeeth and also announced that the Managing Committee had accepted the resignation of Prof. Bhavani Shankar Garg.
