In order to present their demands, the Rajasthan Vidyarthi Mitra Teacher’s Association has called for a 36 hours strike from today and has also threatened to continue their protests if no positive action is taken on their demands.

In order to present their demands, the Rajasthan Vidyarthi Mitra Teacher’s Association has called for a 36 hours strike from today and has also threatened to continue their protests if no positive action is taken on their demands.

A large numbers of activists who came from different areas of Udaipur region gathered outside the Collectorate and led a peaceful demonstration consisting of speeches by several leaders of the Vidyarthi Mitra Association.

Out of their 9-points demand letter attached with the memorandum in the name of Chief Minister, Vidyarthi Mitra demanded to post Vidyarthi Mitra on vacant positions available to those members of the association who are now jobless due to the recent deployment of permanent teachers.

Other demands including job guarantee, pay scale, leverages, etc. were also mentioned in the letter.
