Government Jobs Update: India Post to Recruit for 25,000+ GDS Posts Without Any Exam, Check Details

Recruitment notification in Indian Post
The notification issued by India Post includes various posts in the GDS department. Notable among them are Branch Postmaster, Assistant Branch Postmaster and Postal Servant. However, only a short notification has been issued at this stage. The notification states that there will be more than 25,000 vacancies.
What is the educational qualification required?
To apply for these India Post posts, job seekers must have passed secondary school from any recognised board or school. Apart from this, no additional qualification is required. However, this recruitment will be completely based on Madhyamik exam marks. Therefore, candidates with a higher percentage in Madhyamik will have an advantage.
What is the age limit required?
To apply for these posts, candidates must be at least 18 years old and not more than 40 years old. Apart from this, as per government rules, reserved category candidates will get relaxation in the upper age limit. SC and ST candidates will get five years of relaxation, while OBC candidates will get three years of relaxation.
Salary Structure
If you get a job as a Branch Postmaster of India Post, you are paid a salary of Rs 12,000 to Rs 29,380 per month. However, if you get a job as an Assistant Branch Postmaster or Dak Sevak, you are paid a salary of Rs 10,000 to Rs 24,470 per month. Apart from this, other facilities are also included.
Recruitment Process
As mentioned earlier, there is no written test or computer-based test here. A merit list is published based on the Madhyamik exam marks of the candidates. Those whose names are on that list are appointed through direct interview.
