National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Lower Division Clerk
UdaipurTimes, Nov 2, 2026 - The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (an autonomous body under the Union Ministry of Tourism) invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Lower Division Clerk (Pay Level 2 as per 7th CPC Pay matrix).
Recruitment details are as follows:
Method of Recruitment - Direct
No. of Posts And Reservation - 02 (01 ST and 01 UR)
Age - Not exceeding 27 years (relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category as per government norms)
Essential Eligibility Criteria and Experience - Essential qualifications and experience:
- 10th of 10+2 system or equivalent with a typing speed of 30 wpm with at least one year experience
- Ability to use computer is an essential qualification
Mode of Selection - Written test followed by skill test
- Written Test (100 MCQs)
- Numeric Aptitude (25 MCQs)
- General English (25 MCQs)
- General Knowledge (25 MCQs)
- Clerical Aptitude (25 MCQs)
- Drafting of letter/notice/note - 30 marks
- Typing Skill Test (only for shortlisted candidates): Computer Proficiency Test
General Instructions
1. The prescribed application format is available in the website www.nchm.gov.in.
2. Interested candidates may apply by sending the duly filled-in application form along with copies of necessary documents in support of date of birth, qualification(s), experience, category, etc., to The Director (A&F), NCHMCT, A-34, Sector 62, Noida 201 309.
3. The envelope containing the application should be superscribed on the top as “Application for the post of LDC”.
4. Last date for receiving the applications in the NCHMCT is November 30, 2026. Applications received after the last date shall not be considered.
5. Upper age limit will be reckoned as on closing date of this advertisement.
6. In case of employee of Central/State Govt/Autonomous Bodies/PSUs etc., the applicants are required to apply through proper channel.
7. The NCHMCT reserves the right to shortlist the applications, fill or not to fill the vacancy.
8. In case of any inadvertent error in publication of advertisement, the result will be on the basis of requisition/recruitment rules of the post, DoPT guidelines and any other prevailing guideline of GOI.
