Rajasthan Govt Work-From-Home Yojana for Women

UdaipurTimes, Nov 5, 2026 - With the objective of increasing women's contribution to employment and livelihood opportunities and making them self-reliant and financially independent, the Rajasthan government has introduced the Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Work From Home Yojana to provide women with work-from-home employment opportunities.

The scheme was announced under Budget Announcement No. 43 for the financial year 2022–23.

The announcement had said: "I propose to launch the Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Work From Home Yojana for women who can contribute to their family's livelihood by working from home. In the coming year, 20,000 women are proposed to be benefited under this scheme, with an estimated expenditure of approximately Rs 100 crore."

Objectives

1. To connect women with work-from-home and job-work opportunities, taking into consideration their interests, preferences and capabilities.

2. To provide work-from-home and job-work opportunities to skilled women who are interested in working from home, across technical, skill-based and other sectors, through government departments, autonomous institutions, public sector undertakings and the private sector.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the scheme, applicants must fulfil the following conditions:

• The applicant must be a resident of Rajasthan.
• The applicant must be at least 18 years of age on the date of application.

Priority Categories

Preference will be given to women belonging to the following categories:

• Widows
• Abandoned or divorced women
• Women with disabilities
• Women who are victims of violence

Benefits

It allows women to choose jobs with their interest and abilities. 

• Enables technically-skilled women to work with government, private sector, autonomous institutions and other department.
• It offers a training incentive of Rs 3,000 to each women.
