Centre for Digital Enterprise at IIM Udaipur is looking to hire 2 employees for the position of “Technical Writer” and “Proof Reader”. The position will report in to the Communications Head at IIM Udaipur.

The 2 members will be responsible for helping curate content for blogs. As a combined editorial team, they will be responsible for putting out articles, interviews on the blog. This involves re-writing content, conducting interviews and editing work of researchers, faculty and industry experts to make the blog relevant and interesting for its followers. The blog will include videos, infographics and other visual elements to make it attractive for its readers.

Candidate Profile:

• Must be familiar with digital editing and re-writing content.
• Must have flair for writing and possess excellent communication skills.
• Command over spoken and written English language is most essential.
• Familiarity with page layout and designing is desired.
• Strong capabilities in proof-reading and re-writing documents are desired.
• Must be comfortable interacting with people – students, faculty, industry professionals, etc.

Experience requirement

• Technical Writer: 3-5 years in a similar function
• Proof Reader: 1 year experience in digital industry. Background in journalism is preferred.
