Udaipur, January 8, 2025 - The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has started the online registration process for Ministerial and Isolated category posts in Indian Railways. Eligible candidates can apply for 1,036 vacancies from January 7, 2025, to February 6, 2025.

The RRB Ministerial and Isolated Categories (RRB MI) recruitment includes roles like:

  • Junior Stenographer

  • Junior Translator

  • Staff and Welfare Inspector

  • Chief Law Assistant

  • Cook

  • PGT, TGT, and Physical Training Instructors

  • Assistant Mistress (Junior School)

  • Music Mistress and Dance Mistress

  • Laboratory Assistant (School)

  • Head Cook

  • Fingerprint Examiner

Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 18 years old, with an upper limit of 48 years depending on the post.

  • Education: Applicants need to have passed their 12th grade, graduation, or post-graduation as per the post requirements.

  • Medical Standards: Candidates must meet the prescribed medical standards. If found medically unsuitable, no alternate appointment will be offered.

Important Guidelines

  • Candidates awaiting final exam results cannot apply unless results are declared before the deadline.

  • Exam centers will be allocated based on logistical feasibility, and no requests for changes will be allowed.

  • SC/ST/OBC/EWS status and other benefits will be based on the details submitted by February 6, 2025.

  • Any unfair practices during exams will lead to a lifetime ban from RRB/RRC exams, dismissal from service, and possible legal action.

Prohibited Items

Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, laptops, calculators, and wristwatches are strictly prohibited in the exam hall. Candidates should avoid bringing any such items, as no arrangements for safekeeping are assured.

Selection Process 

  1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): A single-stage online test.

  2. Skill Tests: Stenography Skill Test (SST), Translation Test (TT), Performance Test (PT), or Teaching Skill Test (TST), depending on the post.

  3. Document Verification and Medical Examination: Final steps for selected candidates.
