Rajasthan Govt Scheme for Jobless Youth

Udaipur Times, Sept 11, 2026 - The Mukhyamantri Yuva Sambal Yojana or the "Rajasthan Berojgari Bhatta" (unemployment allowance) is a scheme by the government of Rajasthan that gives a monthly stipend to educated, jobless youth while they are looking for work. 

The Mukhyamantri Yuva Sambal scheme is run by the Department of Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship (Employment Wing) and has been active in its current form since the start of 2022. In practical terms, it puts a monthly allowance of Rs 4,000 for male candidates and Rs 4,500 for female, transgender, and differently-abled candidates into the beneficiary's bank account for up to two years, or until they find a job. One can apply through the Rajasthan SSO portal.

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a permanent resident (domicile) of Rajasthan.
• Married women whose husbands are Rajasthan residents are also considered eligible even if they originally hail from another State.

• Hold at least a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
• Must be within the prescribed age band - up to 30 years for General category male candidates and up to 35 years for women, SC/ST/OBC, transgender candidates and persons with disabilities.
• Applicant must be genuinely unemployed, not in any government job, private job or self-employment and be actively looking for work.
• Have an annual family income below Rs 2 lakh.
• Be registered with the State Employment Exchange/on the employment portal.
• No more than two members of the same family may draw the allowance at the same time.
• Not be enrolled in further full-time studies after graduation.
