UPSC - Direct Recruitment to various posts in Government of India

The detailed Advertisement No. 10/2026, along-with instructions to the candidates has been uploaded on the Commission’s website https://upsc.gov.in. Interested candidates can apply through the Online Recruitment Application portal https://upsconline.nic.in/ora/ from 8 August, 2026 to 28 August, 2026 (for posts other than those under the administration of UT of Ladakh) and 4 September, 2026 (for posts under the administration of UT of Ladakh).

The vacancies are in the following areas:

1. One vacancy for the post of Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) in Directorate General of Lighthouses and Lightships, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.
2. Nine vacancies for the post of Assistant Executive Engineer (Electronics) in Directorate General of Lighthouses and Lightships, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.
3. One vacancy for the post of Assistant Director (Engineering), Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.
4. One vacancy for the post of Superintendent Translation (Hindi Branch) in Official Languages Wing, Legislative Department, Ministry of Law and Justice.
5. Eleven vacancies for the post of Research Officer in National Atlas and Thematic Mapping Organisation, Ministry of Science and Technology.
6. Four vacancies for the post of Horticulture Development Officer in Horticulture Department, Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh.
7. Seven vacancies for the post of Soil Conservation Assistant in Command Area Development, Agricultural Department, Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh.
