Seedling Modern Public School celebrated its 13th Annual Sports Day with much fun-fare. The program commenced with the March Past by the four houses namely Indra, Soma, Surya and Varuna.

The March Past of the four houses was led by the Head Boy Tushar Jain, Head Girl Iravadi Sharma & Sports Captain Akhil Nair. The March Past displayed rhythmic co-ordination, disciplined teamwork and strength of Seedlites. The Sports Captain Akhil Nair carried the Seedling torch around the track, giving the message of integrity and true sportsmanship.

This was followed by declaration of Opening the Sports Meet by the chief guest Rajendra Nahar, IES Udaipur. The chief guest gave an inspirational speech and appreciated children & teachers for their tremendous effort & teamwork.

The colorful drill namely ‘Christmas Glory’ was presented by students of grade I and II. Spreading the example of perfect physical and mental co-ordination, the little blossoms of class III, IV and V presented Basketball and Aerobic Drill respectively, which was a sheer treat for the eyes of spectators.

The Sports Day resumed with various races namely Mera House Sabse Pyara, Tumbling Elephant Run, Jump and Empty, Mighty Draggers, Soft & Hard Balancing, Sha-la-la bottles and Clean Seedling.

Students of classes IX, X, XI & XII (Boys & Girls) enthusiastically ran in relay races and gave a laudable performance. The ‘Slow Cycle Race’ also captivated viewers’ attention and the most exciting Parents Race was held where parents showcased their talent coupled with thrill and excitement to win.

The students securing 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions were felicitated and given medals by the chief guest accompanied by Director Hardeep Bakshi, Moneeta Bakshi & Principal Keerti Maken. The winning house was awarded with trophy.
