Keeping the school flag high 14 students of MDS Senior Secondary School got selected in KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna).

Keeping the school flag high 14 students of MDS Senior Secondary School got selected in KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna). 

Out of these 14 students, 6 are Std XI students namely Sayam  Choudhary, Manan Sharma, Keerti Harpawat, Kalpit Veerval, Kalpit Kothari and Dhanraj Mane while 8 students are from Std XII namely Mukul Jain, Kalp Jain, Adit Mittal, Sourabh Varma, Kanishk Samariya, Akshat Vijayvargiya and Rahil Sanwala.

Arun Shrimali, Resonance Center Manager informed that the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an on-going National Program of Fellowships in Basic Sciences, initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and examination is conducted by Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru in two Stages – first of which is a written test followed by Interview.

Students from Class XI & Class XII have been selected for the fellowship which varies from Rs. 4000/- to 7000/- per month along with annual contingency grant of Rs. 16000/- to Rs. 28000/-.

As told by Dr. Shailendra Somani, the Director of MDS Sr. Sec. School, “The students have been continuously proving their efficiency at the National Level and International Level and are doing remarkably well. This is an incredible achievement by the students of the school.”

Dr. Shailendra Somani and Dr. Nidhi Maheshwari congratulated the students in the morning assembly and wished the winners for their better future.
