67^th Independence Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm at Delhi Public School Udaipur in the presence of the Mahendra Pratap ‘Vaya’, a freedom fighter who was the chief guest for the celebration.

The unfurling of the national Flag by the chief guest was followed by the singing of the national anthem and parade by the students of the four houses and scout group.

The head girl of the school, Paridhi Mathur welcomed all on the occasion. On this day the students of class two presented a fusion dance on patriotic songs.

The Dipsites displayed the important role played by women during the freedom struggle through a skit. The patriotic song by the choir filled all with nationalist feelings.

The chief guest recalled the days of freedom struggle and praised the students for spectacular performance. The vote of thanks was proposed by the Head Boy, Suyash Raisinghani.
