According to Dr Nidhi Maheshwari, Principal, MDS Sr. Sec. School, 18 students studying in Class XI and XII are selected in this prestigious examination’s first stage.Harsh Maheshwari, Aditya Pratap Singh Rajawat, Shubhika Jain, Charvi Nahar, Abbas Ali Pansary, Pranav Gothwal, Pramit Singhi, Harshit Mandowara, Himanshu Garg, Farhan Ali, Gargi Agarwal, Pranay Jain, Megha Meena, Harshita Kothari, Dhruv Kothari, Mukul Jain, Akshat Vijayvargia and Kunal Verma will be appearing in the conclusive Interview stage of this examination.
All these students are preparing for IIT-JEE with RESONANCE-MDS Integrated program.
It is worthwhile to note that Yash Gupta of MDS secured AIR-1 in 2012-13 and Kushal Babel secured AIR-8 in this examination. Both were students of MDS-RESONANCE integrated course.
It is to be noted that the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an on-going National Program of Fellowship in Basic Sciences initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to attract exceptionally highly motivated students for pursuing basic science courses and research career in science.
The objective of the program is to identify students with talent and aptitude for research; help them realize their academic potential; encourage them to take up research careers in Science, and ensure the growth of the best scientific minds for research and development in the country.
Generous fellowships are provided up to the pre-Ph.D. level to the selected KVPY Fellows.
Dr. Shailendra Somani, Director, MDS Sr. Sec. School and Arun Shrimali, Center Manager, Resonance Udaipur congratulated the students for their wonderful performances. Students were honored in the morning assembly of the school today.
