Independence day was celebrated with a lot of fervor and zeal at Alok Senior Secondary School. Flag hoisting was carried out by Director of Alok Sansthan and Chief Guest of the occasion, Dr. Pradeep Kumawat.

Students of the school presented many cultural programs and performed physical education exercises during the event. The main events included Mass PT, yoga demonstration, poetry recitation, Pranayama and patriotic songs. Student performances were well appreciated by all the audience present.

Dr Pradeep Kumawat gave best wishes on the occasion to all present. However, he also noted that we are not free even after independence. All of us can, by small acts of ours, make a huge contribution to the nation, observed Dr Kumawat.
