To enhance her creativity and passion for art, 18-year-old Aafiya Bandookwala is one of the budding artists of Udaipur.  Her portraits, sketches, drawings and paintings depicts her broad understanding and knowledge of using colors and brushes to make a perfect piece of art.

 Aafiya started playing with sketches when she was a 9 year old.  Till her early teens, she was unaware of the fact that the passion which was nurturing in her will soon become an important part of her life.  With the support of her family and friends Aafiya’s drawings were expanding in an eminent way.

One fine day, a friend of her suggested a prominent artist Nelson Mathaniel as a teacher for Aafiya, which gave her an additional boost to step forward in the field of art.

Nelson Sir upgraded the skills of Aafiya to the next level where she learnt and understood technical aspects of drawing and painting.

With the help of years of hard work and knowledge gained under the directions of Nelson Sir, Aafiya has started taking art as a career and wishes to pursue it from the Art colleges.

Having completed her 12^th from MMPS, at present Aafiya has enrolled in Arts from MLSU.

“I wish to study at J.J College of Arts Mumbai to effectively enhance my passion into profession” said Aafiya.
