Students of Bohra Youth Public School, Udaipur had a great day out as they took active part in the Khushi Creative Workshop held on 23rd November.  This awareness campaign was organized by Hindustan Zinc, in collaboration with UdaipurTimes.com.

Bohra Youth Public School was among 10 selected schools that participated in the event, which was held with a motive to spread awareness on child care.  Students participating in the event were asked to paint around child care themes, viz. Child Abuse, Child Malnutrition, Child Marriage, Child Trafficking, Child Labour, Save the Girl Child, Child Education and Child Beggary.

8 students participated from Bohra Youth Public School in the painting workshop, which took place from 9:30AM till 12:30PM opposite their camp outside the Collectorate and took all pains to express their feelings and thoughts in the form of colored canvas.  The students, each painting on different themes, held the visitors and judges in awe with their understanding of the subject.

The students painting the themes included Zennifer Abbasi, Mohammad Sohail and Mushahid Khan of class 9; Sara Khan, Fardeen Khan and Mohammad Hussain of Class 6 and Anas Hussain and Faizan Mansoori of Class 8.

16 students who accompanied their colleagues, added gaiety and attraction to the event by performing a Nukkad Natak and standing with placards around the Collectorate road, where the Painting Camp was setup – namely, Rida Saniya, Shehnaz Sultana, Mohammad Kaif, Adiba Khan, Arman, Kashish, Sahil Mansoori, Shazaan, Mahenoor, Sakibuddin, Mahepara, Taliba, Amaan, Shinam and Mohammad Anas Raza.

Zohra Khan, Principal; Reena Gupta, Sabira Oda and Ramila Mathur accompanied students on their day out with Khushi.

Refreshments and other facilities like painting canvas, acrylic colors, paint brushes, etc were made available to the children.  Jury members were in awe of the efforts and thought process demonstrated by the students.
