Apoorva Maheshwari, a student of Class 12 at St Anthony’s School Udaipur, has secured top spot in Udaipur in the Commerce stream in the recently declared CBSE Class XII results.

A student of St Anthony’s Sr Sec School, Apoorva has been a self motivated student all through his final years of schooling. Economics being his subject of interest, Apoorva plans to seek admission in one of the top Commerce colleges of the country and has begun applying in Mumbai University and Delhi University. He plans to take up a bachelors degree in Economics, following it up with a Masters in the same subject.

Apoorva, in his discussion with UdaipurTimes, said that eventualy he plans to set up his own business, but after some experience under his belt. On his study efforts, Approva said that he took tuitions for Accounts but did the other subjects on his own, with a daily focus on studies making it a regular uninterrupted practice, following up with a bit of late nights during the examination window.

Apoorva secured 100 percent in Typography and Computer Applications, 99 percent in Economics, 97 percent in English and 95 percent in both Accounts and Business Studies.

Approva’s father Ajay Samnani is a Manager with a private firm in Udaipur and his mother Pooja is a housewife.
