Centemy Sports meet Opening Ceremony

On the occasion of its Silver Jubilee, the Central Academy, Ambamata and Hiran Magri branches are going to hold their Sports week- Centemy Sports Meet 2013, starting from 20 Jan. till 26 Jan.

 

Centemy Sports meet Opening CeremonyOn the occasion of its Silver Jubilee, the Central Academy, Ambamata and Hiran Magri branches are going to hold their Sports week- Centemy Sports Meet 2013, starting from 20 Jan. till 26 Jan.

The Ambamata branch of Central Academy organized the inaugural ceremony; the theme of program was ‘Kite’ soaring in the sky. The mascots for this Sports Fiesta were Tusky and Trunky- the two baby elephants.

The chief guest for the ceremony was Dr. Deependra Singh Chouhan, Secretary of Sports Board of MLSU. The guest of honor was Sudheer Mishra, Chief Editor of Dainik Bhaskar. The Director of Central Academy organization, Lakshyajaya Mishra, the principals and heads of other Central Academy branches in Udaipur attended the ceremony.

In the event where parents of all the students were also invited as special guests, the welcome speech was delivered by Manju Chouhan, Principal of Central Academy, Ambamata.

The meet was given a flying start by unfurling the sports flag and the torch bearers carried the flame round the track. The National players and achievers of last 25 years also participated in torch bearing. This was followed by a smart march past.

The meet was declared open by Sudheer Mishra, who further administered the oath to the players.

The ceremony started with ‘Surya Namaskar’ an invocation to God Sun followed by various drills like Aerobics, Skipping with beats, Smiley- a presentation by little ones, Pom Pom drill, Rings & Rhythm and drill dance by Honey bees.

There was a games round kept for the parents also to involve them in the function. The winners were awarded prizes along with felicitation of the National champions. All the guests appreciated this effort of school children through their speeches.

It was a day full of fun and frolic which ended with vote of thanks, followed by the National Anthem.
