Have you ever imagined planets descending on the earth,leaving all spellbound?Sounds incredible,right? Well,the Jubilee Hall of Central Academy ,Sardarpura witnessed the said scene on its stage on 13th July 2017 on the occasion of school’s 37th Foundation Day where the theme of ‘Solar System’ was celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm.

The students from class VI – XI performed remarkably on the eight planets assigned.The stage gleamed with the celestial lights of Jupiter,Mars,Uranus etc after seeking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati by kindling the lamp of knowledge and wisdom by Hon.Principal Mrs.Priya Bose.Thenafter,an opening speech throwing light on the relevance of celebrating Foundation Day was delivered by Ms.Shameem(Engl.Teacher).

Soon an array of colourful and bright events were started comprising of drama,skit,dance and dance cum drama with jubiliant actors of Central Academy.

The story of cursed moon brought on the stage,wonderful skit on Neptune with message that our fate lies not in stars but in our hard work,a captivating dance on importance of Sun,skit on Mars a red planet with message ‘we need to control our negative energy and of course the interesting play enacted by students of cl XI SC  giving the message that ‘determination and will power enables one to emerge like a twinkling star’.The characters of the play gave lively performance and did justice on the script written by their class teacher Ms.Shameem.

The events were an outcome of strenuous efforts by students under guidance of diligent teachers circling around Sun which is of course the inspiring Principal Mrs Bose who have been the motivating source throughout.

Meritorious rank holders from VI -XI as well as multitude of stars in the field of sports were felicitated by senior teachers Mrs.Chattopadhyay,Mrs.Mathur,MrsSherebanu,Mrs.Thomas,Mr.Brij & Mr.O.P Sharma respectively with cash prizes,medals,trophies & certificates.

The function was winded up by the enlightening words of respected Principal Mrs.Bose with the remembrance and gratitude to the vision of the people who established Central Academy.
