Child Health Eye Opener at Kidzee AmbamataKidzee Ambamata conducted a seminar on Children Health, title ‘A Step To Child Health’ on the occasion of International Parents Day at the campus today.

Renowned child specialist Dr. Ravi Bhatia took the session. Various queries and doubts expressed by parents were satisfactorily resolved by him. The Seminar comprised of talks on child development, child growth, child illness and its management, child upbringing, etc.

Topics like vaccination, asthma, abdominal disorders, eating habits, dentition, obesity, behavioral disorders, etc were discussed and explained well.

‘One should avoid roadside food and drinks especially in rainy weather to stay healthy’, advised Dr. Bhatia.

He further stressed that parents should be shining role models for their kids as children are very sensitive to the environment they are exposed to, and observe and follow what they see around them.

Parents were also made aware about the benefit of consuming organic food. ‘Making a commitment to healthy eating is a great start towards a healthier life’, said Organic Food expert Kapil Vyas.

Children are most vulnerable to pesticide contained in conventional food leading to various diseases due to their less-developed immune systems and because their bodies and brains are still developing. ‘Organic food is free from pesticides’, added Kapil.

Active parents’ participation made the seminar a fourfold success.

Kidzee director Dr. Atul Sharma thanked one and all and stressed the need for such seminars where eminent personalities like Dr. Bhatia share their expertise as health is something which goes beyond medicine. He wished all the parents happier and a healthier tomorrow.
