Children’s Day celebration at DPS
125th birth anniversary of our first Prime Minster, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru was celebrated enthusiastically at Delhi Public School, Udaipur. The day was dedicated to children and teachers showcased acts, dances and songs to make their day memorable one.
125th birth anniversary of our first Prime Minster, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru was celebrated enthusiastically at Delhi Public School, Udaipur. The day was dedicated to children and teachers showcased acts, dances and songs to make their day memorable one.
The program started with the lamp lighting by the Principal, Neeru Tandon along with the Head Boy, Head Girl, Vice Head Boy and Vice Head Girl. The chief guest for today’s celebration was all the students of class XII as it was their last Children’s Day in the school.
The entire program was conducted in form of an act and related songs and dances. The fillers in between made everyone laugh. The Pre-Primary and primary teachers performed in costume of jester which was applauded by all.
The event consisted of Rajasthani dance, western dance and skit. The children were looking beautiful in their colorful attires and they enjoyed the performances by the teachers.
The Head Girl of the school, Gurleen thanked the teachers for making their day a memorable one. At the end, the Principal, Neeru Tandon blessed all the children and wished them a Happy Children’s Day.
