Children’s day was celebrated with much fun and enthusiasm at MDS sec. 3 branch.

To mark the birth anniversary of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru fondly called as ‘Chacha Nehru’ various activities were organised for the students. Classes Play group and Pre Nursery were taken on an educational trip to Health Wonder Land, Badi.

Classes I and II had Fun Races like Balance Race, Three leg race, find the same color balls, Run and collect same color balls and Throw balls in the bucket. Children of classes III, IV and V had story writing competition in Hindi and English.

Classes VI to X had inter house solo and Group Dance competition. Mrs. Seema Biswas judged the dance competition and the results were as follows in solo dance Taxila house stood first and Vikramshilla stood second and in group dance Vallabhi house stood first and Nalanda house stood second.

Dr. Shailendra Somani Director, Dr. Nidhi Maheshwari Principal and Miss Jayamala Verma Vice Principal of MDS Senior Secondary told the children about the importance of children’s day and adviced them to follow the path shown by Chacha Nehru.
