Children’s day was celebrated today at M.D.S. School Sector 3 and Pratap Nagar branches. On the occasion, dancing and singing competitions were held for students from class 1^st to 10^th. The students enthusiastically took part in the all the competitions.

The program was inaugurated by school’s Director, Dr. Shailendra Somani, Principal Dr. Nidhi Maheshwari, Vice- Principal Jaya Verma and school’s Trustee Pushpa Somani by lightning the lamp and garlanding Padit Nehru’s picture.

The teachers presented a prayer song for the students. The kids were given a detailed description about Pandit Nehru’s life.

All the students who won the singing and dancing competitions were awarded.

Dr. Shailendra Soamni, Director of the school told the kids more about Children’s Day. He also threw a light upon the life of Pandit Nehru and specially mentioned how fond he was of kids.
