City schools celebrate Republic Day
65th Republic Day celebrations was celebrated with a lot of pomp of fervor across the city schools. Hoisting of tricolour was followed by reciting of the national anthem across all schools.

Various cultural programmes were presented at Central Academy Sec-5. Programmes included song and dance performances by the students and a skit on “Humanity – The supreme religion”.
Dr. Ritu Bhandari, Principal spoke on the occasion, highlighting upon the importance of Republic Day and encouraged the students to imbibe in themselves the qualities of those great heroes who gave us, a Republic India.
Ryan International witnessed a plantation ceremony on the occasion.
The students also performed patriotic dances and gave musical performances.Songs like “Vande Mataram” and “ Desh Mera Rangeela” saluted the national heroes Bhagat Singh, Mahatma Gandhi and made the atmosphere patriotic. Poetry and fancy dress competitions were also held on the occasion.
The Principal of the school conveyed the greetings of Chairman Dr. Augustine Francis Pinto & Managing Director Madam Grace Pinto and motivated the students to keep up the Flag fluttering high and encouraged them to stand for their nation whenever there is a call.
