Birth Anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bhadur Shastri were celebrated today in the city schools with much enthusiasm. Students remembered the nation’s heroes for their work and sacrifices for the freedom and development of the nation.

Several programs including exhibitions etc. were organized in the schools of Udaipur. School heads addressed the students and narrated Gandhi and Shastri’s morals and philosophies. Students marked their anniversaries by participating in various cultural activities etc.

Students of St. Anthony School remembered the nation’s heroes for their work and sacrifices for the freedom and development of the nation. School Prinicpal William D’Souza addressed the students and narrated Gandhi and Shastri’s morals and philosophies.

A student Anubhuti made an artwork to mark the day.

Tiny tots of Kidzee Ambamata also remembered Mahatma Gandhi by wearing a paper cap written “I am Gandhi” and offering flowers to the photograph of Mahatma Gandhi.
