CPS (Central Public School) celebrated the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima today with utmost zeal and fervor. The school students, teachers and staff marked the day observing customs which include honoring teachers by students.

While addressing the students, Dr. S.K Kaushik, renowned cardiologist the chief guest of the program explained the gracious position of teachers in the life of students. He encouraged students to get higher education and bring proud to their parents and country.

Special guest Anil Sharma also appreciated the customary celebration which is dedicated to the bonding of Teacher and students. He said that, this is the preeminent way to honor teachers.

Parents of students were also invited to witness the program. Students who achieved academic success were also honored today.

Alka Sharma, director of the school said that, the customary way of honoring teachers by their students is the best way to celebrate the occasion of Guru Purnima. She said, “these customs induce devotion and respect for teachers, which further strengthen the students from inside and help them leading their life with ease”.
