Gurutsav, an online Essay Writing Competition was organized by Ministry of Human Resource Development for the CBSE Schools on the occasion of Teachers’ Day in which Diya Bagehala of class IV of Delhi Public School, Udaipur received a cash prize of Rs. 5000 by winning at the national level.

The event was organized in three categories; classes III-V, classes VI-VIII and classes IX-XII. The objective behind this was to inculcate the value of importance of teachers in the life of students.

The topic was given online half an hour before the start time. 10 students from each group could participate from each school. Four best students were selected from each state. Diya Bagehala stood first in the four selected students and got first position at the national level.

The Principal, Neeru Tandon felicitated Diya for her achievement by presenting a certificate and a memento.
