DPS celebrates Ram Navami & World Heritage Day

Ram Navami and World Heritage Day were celebrated at Delhi Public School Udaipur premises on 18th April 2013. A number of activities were conducted on this occasion including visits to Badi Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Veer Vinod Library, Sajjan Vani Vilas Library and Ahar Museum.

 

DPS celebrates Ram Navami & World Heritage Day

Ram Navami and World Heritage Day were celebrated at Delhi Public School Udaipur premises on 18th April 2013. A number of activities were conducted on this occasion including visits to Badi Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Veer Vinod Library, Sajjan Vani Vilas Library and Ahar Museum.

The objective behind the visits was to inform the students about the need to conserve these historical monuments. The students of class VIII visited Badi Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Veer Vinod Library and also Sajjan Vani Vilas Library which was established in the year 1931 by Maharana Sajjan Singh for the collection of great epics at the City Palace, Udaipur.  In this series, the students of Class I went to see the Ahar Museum.

DPS celebrates Ram Navami & World Heritage Day

On this occasion Poster Competition and Collage Competition were organized for the students of class IV and V.

Ram Navami was also celebrated through a special assembly in which the students emphasized the importance of this day. With the help of a song and dance, the students presented the conversation between Kevat and lord Ram.

Pre-primary students decked themselves in the attire of Ram, Sita, Laxman and Hanuman to commemorate this day. The Principal, Neeru Tandon wished all on the occasion of Ram Navami.
