On 30 ^th June the students at Delhi Public School Udaipur celebrated Father’s Day with zeal and enthusiasm. On this occasion fathers were called to school and they reminisced their school days and expressed the desire to know about the life of their children at school. They witnessed it live from 9:20 am to 12:30 pm. The day started with assembly followed by yoga session. The teaching incorporated a class on Phonics, dance and music lessons, and clay modelling where the students moulded clay into beautiful forms. The fathers were delighted to see the school life of their children and showed their thankfulness to the school administration for making the school life so lively. The principal expressed her gratitude to all the visitors for sparing their time and be a part of celebration. She also emphasized that fathers have an important role to play in shaping the lives of children. Keeping in mind the dwindling forest cover, increasing natural disasters and natural imbalance, the tiny tots of Delhi Public School Udaipur celebrated Vanmahotsav. This was celebrated by presenting a skit at Lake Fateh Sagar through which they gave a message to plant more and more trees to avoid natural disasters. They also highlighted that trees should not be cut.
